  eMove360° Award 2020 -> TEAMOBILITY  Winner in the category Mobility Concepts & Services

As part of the eMove360 ° Hybrid 2020 Conference & Exhibition for Mobility 4.0, the finalists of the world’s most important award for New Mobility in the extraordinary atmosphere of the coal bunker MOTORWORLD Munich were announced on October 20. The expert jury of the eMove360 ° Award for electric mobility & autonomous driving had nominated the most innovative submissions for mobility. The winner in the Mobility Concepts & Services category is TEAMOBILITY GmbH with UCCON. To receive the trophy, Professor Johann Tomforde, managing director and Veit Fritzenschaft, partner of TEAMOBILITY, came from Böblingen.

After TEAMOBILITY received the Thinking Award of the month for the UCCON lightweight chassis as the best and most innovative lightweight solution in May 2019, Leichtbau Baden-Württemberg nominated TEAMOBILITY for the THINKING AWARD 2019 at the beginning of the year. After an exciting evaluation process by a high-ranking expert commission, TEAMOBILITY achieved an excellent third place. The awards were presented on February 11, 2020 by Dr. Wolfgang Seeliger, lightweight construction Baden-Württemberg and the state government of Baden-Württemberg, represented by Theresia Bauer, Minister for Science, Research and Art. Prof. Johann Tomforde, managing partner of TEAMOBILITY GmbH: “… ..the ThinKing Award is a great honor for our team. We have been working on the concept of the UCCON for a long time and I think we can use it to set many new accents, such as how usable space can be created in limited traffic areas thanks to lightweight construction … ”

PRESS RELEASE______________________________________________ 29 MAY 2019 TEAMOBILITY honored with German Innovation Award in Gold For the second time yesterday evening, on May 28, 2019, the award winners of the German Innovation Award were honored at a festive gala in the Technikmuseum in Berlin. More than 350 invited guests from business, politics and the media accepted the exclusive invitation. The winner of the innovation prize is the German Design Council, which was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag.  The winners of the evening included TEAMOBILITY. The Böblingen-based company impressed with its UCCON platform chassis for commercial vehicles and was awarded the German Innovation Award in Gold in the »Excellence in Business to Business – Automotive Technologies« category.  Urban supply and modern mobility demand networked system solutions, hybrid lightweight construction and clean drive platforms. The multi-modal UCCON ecosystem from TEAMOBILITY enables a resource-saving life cycle, as valuable components of the rolling chassis and the lightweight structure hold across three model generations and only used body and interior components need to be replaced in a modular way. It is the distinguishing feature of the German Innovation Award, “explains Andrej Kupetz, Managing Director of the German Design Council. “This is especially successful if future users are involved in product development at an early stage. Many companies have recognized this and rely on appropriate methods to develop an optimal product. “  The German Innovation Award is awarded in the two competition classes: Excellence in Business to Consumer and Excellence in Business to Business. In addition, a winner was identified in the additional category “Design Thinking”. The jury awarded the Gold, Winner and Special Mention awards in a total of 40 categories.  So was rated The evaluation criteria of the German Innovation Award include topics such as the level of innovation, user benefit and profitability.
